Since 2019，driven by the gradual formation of large-scale fuel cell vehicle demonstration operation，China’s automotive hydrogen industry has been developing in a good situation，and has begun to move towards high-quality development. In order to promote the high-quality development of the automotive hydrogen industry，a series of supporting policies have been issued at the national and local levels. The most prominent policy innovations are the support policies for fuel cell vehicle demonstration and operation at the national level，the local government fuel cell vehicle standard system，and the management norms of hydrogen refueling stations. This report summarizes and analyzes the progress of China’s automotive hydrogen industry policies in the recent year，focuses on the national fuel cell vehicle demonstration operation support policies，and analyzes the important role of demonstration operation for industrial development. Combined with the large-scale demonstration operation to be carried out，this report puts forward targeted Suggestions for the development of China’s automotive hydrogen industry.
