Ecological environment problems in the Qilian Mountains are mainly caused by climate change factors and human activities. We focus on geological environment problems and hidden dangers of geological disasters caused by mining in Qilian Mountains National Park，as well as ecological restoration work. In recent years，117 mine ecological restoration projects in 12 areas of Qilian Mountains National Park which have achieved ecological protection have been completed in mountains，rivers，forests，fields，lakes and grasslands. We summarize the existing problems of mine ecological environments and the experience of ecological restoration in the Qilian Mountains，and investigate some of these such as historical remains and abandoned mines，as well as relevant basins and wetlands，to provide guidelines for ecological restoration and protection in the periphery of the protection area.
