本文以美国学者特里·N。克拉克所提出的场景理论为切入点，将中山大道历史文化街区置于场景理论维度下，分析其内在场景，并结合武汉中山大道历史文化街区做个案研究，梳理其改造脉络，探讨其对历史文化街区保护和更新的启示，希望可以为保护城市的历史面貌提供一些思路。
