The digital economy in the Yangtze River Delta region has further developed in 2019，with the growing at a rate of more than 18% and accounting for more than 40% of the region’s GDP. From the perspective of the development of the basic part of the digital economy，the electronic information industries of the four provinces have maintained a fast growth with growth rates exceeding 10%. The electronic information industry is the pillar industry of the national economy. The growth of software and information service industry is generally faster than that of information manufacturing industry. From the perspective of the Integrated development of the digital economy and industries，three of the four provinces in the Yangtze River Delta are ranked in the top 10 of the country based on digital composite index. And they are Jiangsu，Zhejiang and Shanghai. The digital economy presents a distinct band distribution among the 27 major cities in the Yangtze River Delta，with Hangzhou-Suzhou and Jiaxing-Shanghai at the waist spreading to the north and south wings with the highest scores. Looking forward to 2020，the digital infrastructure in the Yangtze River Delta will have a great leap，the 5G commercial field will be further expanded，digital integration will further develop，and the new online economy will present a new situation.
