In recent years，under the guidance of Xi Jinping’s new socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics，cities in Henan have thoroughly implemented the strategic plan and major initiatives of the CPC Central Committee and the Henan provincial government in opening China to the outside world in the new era，and striving to overcome Henan’s disadvantages of “no sea”，“no border” and “no river”. Led by the “one belt and one road”，and the “five areas linkage” and “four way synergy”，are the new inland open “lowlands” which have become the “successful path of opening up to the outside world”. At present，we are building a new opening pattern with inner circulation as the main factor and internal and external circulation promoting each other. The opening-up of cities in Henan is facing more uncertainties and unstable factors，and the weaknesses and deficiencies will be more obvious，which need to be overcome in the future development.
