This report takes Sinopec as the research object，summarizes its development history at home and abroad as well as the current status of its internationalization development under The Belt and Road. This section focuses on the analysis of Sinopec’s internationalization development motivation and the key factors of Sinopec’s internationalization under The Belt and Road initiative. On this basis，some findings and inspirations are obtained，and some Suggestions are provided for Chinese enterprises to explore the international market and the road of internationalization development under The Belt and Road initiative. This research believes that The Belt and Road initiative provides a policy guarantee and a good platform for Sinopec’s international development；China’s important deployment in the field of energy security has promoted Sinopec to accelerate the process of international exploration and development；The systematic optimization of the upstream and downstream industrial chain can help Sinopec significantly improve its international competitiveness，which is one of the important motivations for its international development.
