In 2019，Henan’s new energy vehicle industry will make steady progress，producing 69300 complete vehicles，with a year-on-year increase of 18.69%，accounting for 9.09% of the total automobile production in the province. Among them，33100 new energy passenger vehicles were produced，with a year-on-year increase of 127.17%，accounting for 47.73% of the total production of new energy vehicles in the province. The number of new energy passenger vehicle manufacturers increased from two to seven. The production and sales volume of new energy passenger vehicles increased rapidly，accounting for the proportion of new energy vehicles production and sales in the province. The whole vehicle technology has made innovation and breakthrough，and the positive design and development ability has been continuously improved，and the market competitiveness has been further enhanced. However，at the same time，the overall development level of new energy vehicles in Henan is still not high，which is inconsistent with its economic status，and there are still many problems. It is necessary to further improve the development quality and promote the overall progress of the industry.
