In 2018，Guangzhou took the structure reform of education supply side as the main line to accelerate the development of high quality education and improve the quality of education at all levels. The popularization of preschool education has been continuously promoted；the balanced development of compulsory education has continued to consolidate；the quality of ordinary high school education has improved significantly；the vocational and lifelong education system has been more perfect；and a breakthrough has been made in the construction of high level universities. In order to better meet the new strategy of the bay area of Guangdong，Hongkong and Macau，the new orientation of urban functions，the new requirements of economic and social development and the opportunities and challenges of the people for the new educational needs，Guangzhou must take the new development concept as the guidance，adhere to the innovation driven development，expand the supply of high-quality resources，deepen the reform of education mode，improve the constrution of service-oriented education system，and comprehensively enhance the level of education internationalization.
