In 2019，China’s petroleum engineering construction enterprises innovated the project management mode，carefully planned and organized，contracted more than 100 key projects at home and abroad，and the business income and newly signed contract amount increased year-on-year，and the industry achieved stable and healthy development. The oil and gas field construction project remains stable，and the oil and gas storage and transportation and oil refining and chemical integration project is characterized by large-scale and intelligent，which improves the scientific and technological content of petroleum engineering construction. Large scale engineering construction enterprises continue to intensify the development of overseas oil engineering market，winning the bid and implementing a large number of projects in Southeast Asia，the Middle East，Africa，Central Asia and Russia. This report analyzes the characteristics and problems in the development of industry innovation，and puts forward suggestions for promoting the healthy development of the industry.
