In recent years，China has made preliminary achievements in the construction of Giant Panda National Park and the improvement of national park system. This paper analyzes the economic status and development trend of Giant Panda National Park Community，namely，it establishes communication channels between protected areas and communities，partially alleviates contradiction between communal development and protected areas，accumulates experiences about community planning，and elevates the community’s mobility. It’s pointed out that there are three major shortcomings in the planning and construction of the Community of Giant Panda National Park，i.e. low coverage of the community planning，insufficient investment in the community planning，and extensive community planning needs. Based on the above research，related recommendations to boost the capacity of planning Giant Panda National Park Community are put forward，including setting up a sustainable planning system for the sustainable development growth of the community，building high-quality planning teams with sustainable effectiveness，and forming far-reaching planning and coordination mechanisms.
