Since 2014，the Beijing Bureau of Landscape Planning has demonstrated the construction of forest recuperation trails and forest recuperation bases in Songshan Nature Reserve，Badaling National Forest Park and Shichangyu Village in Miyun District. The Songshan Nature Reserve in northwest Beijing，relying on its natural advantages，deeply excavates natural historical and cultural resources；uses existing facilities to carry out near-natural infrastructure construction；establishes a team of forest recuperator to give full play to their professional skills；relies on rich resources to develop specialized courses for different convalescent objects，and has accumulated rich experience in construction. The problem is that infrastructure is not up to date and quality services are weak；support policies are uncertain；lack of regional medical research；lack of overall planning and special funding. Therefore，it is suggested to combine the work of protected areas with the development of occupational therapy；the government should strengthen the system construction based on the attention；the multi-disciplinary combination，carry out regional empirical research；and do a good job in systematic planning.
