In the new media era,health communication is faced with three dilemmas:information foaming,decentralization of communicators,and social medialization of daily life. As the core force of health communication,the health departments began to actively use new media to carry out health communication,and the new media for government affairs in health communication came into being,which is a special communication phenomenon with Chinese characteristics. Therefore,it is of great significance to effectively carry out health communication and improve public health literacy. Looking forward to the future,we should give full play to the role of health authority to create a large health communication field;give consideration to the functions of government information and health knowledge popularization to respond to the public demand;improve the media influence and conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the communication effect;give play to the leading role of the government to do a good job in risk communication in public health emergencies.
