<<China has always been one of the most popular tourist destinations for overseas tourists. As an important part of cultural tourism,inbound cultural tourism is an important symbol to measure the level of internationalization and maturity of a country’s cultural tourism industry,as well as an important factor to measure the international competitiveness and level of internationalization of China’s cultural tourism industry. With the acceleration of China’s modernization construction and the realization of the goal of building a well-off society in an all-round way by 2020,the desire of international tourists to recognize “modern China” and “rising China” has become the original driving force of inbound tourism. In addition to the ancient history,long culture,beautiful landscapes and hospitable people,China’s ever-changing social development achievements since the reform and opening up have attracted more and more overseas tourists to visit. This report analyses the market scale and growth of inbound cultural tourism,and the output of inbound cultural tourism in major tourist countries. It examines the hot issues of inbound cultural tourism in China in 2018,and puts forward constructive suggestions for the sustainable development of inbound cultural tourism in China in the future.
