右玉县是右玉精神的发祥地。70年来，右玉人民不屈不挠、艰苦奋斗，把昔日的“不毛之地”建设成了如今的“塞上绿洲”，全县林木绿化率由不足0。3%提高到现在的56%，创造了令人惊叹的生态奇迹，并孕育形成了宝贵的右玉精神。新时代以来，依据习近平总书记的先后6次指示，右玉人民以右玉精神和生态文明建设为两大关键支点，将生态法治建设作为基本路径，积极打造践行习近平总书记“两山”理念样板区和推动绿色发展先行区，走出了一条法治护航绿色发展的新路子。
<<Youyu County is the birthplace of the Youyu Spirit. In the past 70 years，the people of Youyu County have transformed their hometown from a wasteland into an oasis，creating an ecological legend in the barren Loess Plateau and developing the precious Youyu Spirit. After entering into the new era，the people of Youyu County，guided by the five instructions given by Party General Secretary Xi Jinping，have taken the Youyu Spirit and the development of ecological civilization as the two key pivots and the construction of ecological civilization as the basic approach，and embarked on the road of sustainable development by beautifying homes，leading development and uniting people with green concepts.
