Currently the implementation of the public interest litigation system by the procuratorial organs of Datong City，after undergoing a pilot stage，has entered into a substantial development stage and a critical window period. To give full play to their important role in serving and safeguarding the overall public interest and construct a public interest litigation system that meets the actual needs of the Party committee，the government and the public，the procuratorial organs of Datong City have rapidly popularized the integrated case handling mechanism. This report focuses on the operation of the integrated mechanism for the handling of public interest litigation cases by the procuratorial organs in Datong City，reviews the basic situation of and existing problems in the operation of this mechanism，and puts forward countermeasure suggestions from such perspectives as thinking and understanding，quality of personnel，guarantee of fund，the procuratorial investigation power，internal institutions and mechanisms，and intelligent procuratorial work.
