In 2019，four charitable organizations were approved with public fundraising qualifications and the total number of such charitable organizations in Guangzhou reached to 14. The total number of public fundraising programs was 213 in the whole year of 2019. 119 programs were publicly funded as expected with total donation of RMB 39968000. These public donations are used in education，elderly care，culture and poverty alleviation which attracts 84% of the total amount. A few features of public fundraising in 2019 could be summarized in following aspects. Firstly，charity federation and red cross society account for a big percentage of public fundraising qualifications. Secondly，charitable organizations with public fundraising qualifications are not vigorous，especially the red cross society. Thirdly，completion rate of the public fundraising target increases while online fundraising contributes less.
