The problem of overload transportation of highway freight vehicles has become a chronic disease endangering the sustainable development of highway transportation. Off-site comprehensive overload control has become an important means of overload monitoring and law enforcement. This paper analyzes the development background and business scenarios of comprehensive control of overload，puts forward the design requirements and solutions of off-site comprehensive overload control，constructs a system solution，and elaborates the important links of comprehensive over load control，and forecasts the development prospect of comprehensive over load transportation control of smart traffic.
