After 40 years of exploration，China has raised its jurisprudence to such a level that it new occupies a unique position in the international academic circle and Chinese jurisprudents are able to carry out synchronic dialogues with their international colleagues. Under the precondition of adhering to the guidance of Chinized Marxism and correct political direction，the jurisprudential community in China has embraced various schools of legal thoughts，learnt widely from the strong points of different research methodologies，based itself on the Chinese cultural tradition and national conditions，followed the general trend of development of socialism with Chinese characteristics，focused on the Chinese practice of construction of the rule of law，and promoted the return of jurisprudence，even the law science as a whole，back to common sense and scholarship，thereby providing theoretical and ideological supports for the perfection of the system of legal theory and the optimization of legal practice. To innovate the Chinese jurisprudence in a new era，it is necessary to further observe and experience the profoundness of the subversive changes in human civilization and pay close attention to international academic frontiers and the common problems and challenges faced by mankind.
