Law and police related public opinion events are one of the most concerned areas by the Party, government and people. In the year 2010, public opinion events related with the public security organs frequently arise, and the number of the court related public opinion events has been reduced compared with that of the last year. The category of violent law enforcement public opinion events occurred dramatically, whereas the category of judicial public opinion events has declined compared with that of the last year. The areas of occurrence are more densely located in Hunan, Zhejiang, and Henan. The frequency of online media's first exposure of the events is much higher, however newspaper is still the first place for exposing the events. In 2010, although the public security organs, procuratorate and the court did very well in coping with those events, there are still some to be desired. <<
