It has attracted much attention to the relationship between climate change and the spread of viruses and health，made the global low-carbon transition more difficult and resulted in the implementation of the Paris Agreement facing serious challenges. Although the COVID-19 epidemic has significantly reduced carbon emissions and improved environmental quality in the short term，it deviates from the original intention of sustainability；Although it has objectively weakened policies and actions of countries in response to climate change，the reconstruction of the global value chain in the post-epidemic era also brings new opportunities for green and low-carbon transformation；Although it warns of the importance of governance resilience and international cooperation for crises，the global climate process has completely stalled since the epidemic，followed by the loss of international mutual trust and severe lack of climate leadership. The COVID-19 epidemic is like a preview of the climate crisis，and we should learn from it. China quickly contained the local epidemic，actively resumed work and production，which obtains a first-mover advantage in economic recovery. China must adhere to the strategic determination of ecological civilization construction，strengthen the resilience of the social and economic system，turn “danger” into “opportunity”，seize the opportunity of low-carbon transformation，and deeply participate in global climate governance and the construction of global ecological civilization while promoting high-quality development of domestic economy and society.
