According to the 2019 data verification and analysis of sustainable development index system of 100 Large and medium-sized cities in China，Beijing，Zhuhai，Shenzhen and eastern coastal cities still ranked highly in sustainable development. The top 10 cities for sustainable development in 2019 are Zhuhai，Beijing，Shenzhen，Hangzhou，Guangzhou，Qingdao，Wuxi，Nanjing，Shanghai and Xiamen. Zhuhai ranked first for three consecutive years. There is obvious imbalance in the urban sustainable development，as reflected in five categories of indicators，namely economic development，people’s livelihood，resources and the environment，consumption and emissions，and environmental governance.
