Under the dual influence of favorable policy promoting and gradual release of market demand，health insurance achieved a rapid development in the domestic market. It increased the demand for health insurance talents rapidly. Due to the immaturity of discipline development in colleges and universities’ talents training，there are many shortages in the orientation，talent training mode，and teaching faculty of the health insurance major. It is challenging to meet the market demand for professional talents because of the lagging cultivation.
