In 2018，Baishan City’s comprehensive economic competitiveness has improved，its sustainable competitiveness has remained stable，and the livable city’s competitiveness is leading the province，and its business competitiveness is relatively backward. Baishan City has made new progress in its economic and social construction，but it still has problems and deficiencies in industrial upgrading，technological innovation，urban-rural integration，and people’s livelihood security. It is necessary to accelerate the transformation of new and old kinetic energy，attract the agglomeration of high-end factors，promote the coordinated development of urban and rural areas，and improve the business and livable environment，thereby further enhancing the comprehensive competitiveness of Baishan City.
