In 2018，although Siping City’s economy is running smoothly，it still faces the arduous task of transformation，structural adjustment and transformation promotion. Its comprehensive economic competitiveness and sub index ranking have declined. The sustainable competitiveness index and ranking of Siping City have increased steadily compared with the previous year. Among the sub indexes of the sustainable competitiveness index，the competitiveness of harmonious city，knowledge city，cultural city，ecological city and the whole city has been improved in the national ranking；the livable city competitiveness index and ranking have declined，and the competitiveness of the commercial city ranks in the middle and upper reaches of the country. In the future，Siping city still needs to actively seize the favorable opportunity of the construction of Changchun Economic Circle，strengthen the guidance of scientific and technological innovation，enhance the endogenous power of economic development，advance the targeted poverty alleviation and rural revitalization as a whole，create a harmonious and stable social environment，further promote the ecological construction，and build a livable ecological city.
