2018 and 2019 was the crucial period for the development of marine public services，in which the ability of overall planning for marine public services was constantly improving；institutional reform brought new opportunities for career development；local marine public services also had made new achievements. The success rate of marine rescue remained high. The capability of marine observation and monitoring，marine forecasting and marine disaster prevention and mitigation had been continuously improved，which would provide more people with better marine public service products in a broader scope. Therefore，people’s life and property security could be more effectively guaranteed. However，the informatization level of marine public services，the level of personnel construction and propaganda still needed to be constantly improved.
