The implementation of the Charity Law of the People’s Republic of China in 2016 has had a positive impact on the definition，registration，and supervision of charitable organizations. At the same time，it clarified the concept of charitable organizations，regulated the rights and obligations of charitable organizations，and effectively promoted the development of charitable organizations. In recent years，charitable organizations have made considerable progress in terms of number and contribution to charity. This article starts from two aspects of official and non-governmental charitable organizations，using the method of longitudinal analysis，combined with the statistical data of civil affairs departments in the past ten years，to describe，analyze and prospect the development of charitable organizations.
