In the context of healthy China and aging population，the construction of China’s existing medical care and Kangyang system covers three core directions，including pension service guarantee，health promotion in China，and medical care and Kangyang consumption. The penetration of market and capital further drives China’s Kangyang industry to develop towards the direction of industrial integration，urban-rural integration，as well as regional integration. To better evaluate the development level and sustainable development of Kangyang industry in various areas，the project team constructed 14 second-level indicators and 49 third-level indicators on the basis of revising and perfecting the sustainable development ability evaluation system of the Kangyang industry and centering on 4 first-level indicators such as resources，environment，facilities and Kangyang development level. Then through the analytic hierarchy process and expert scoring method，the weights of various indicators were determined，and finally the top 20 cities and top 60 counties with regional Kangyang development model were selected. The research indicates that the current development of China’s Kangyang industry is facing problems such as regional development imbalances and mismatch between market and demand. Therefore，in the future，more attention will be paid to market demand，smart Kangyang and emotional care as support，talent training，and market regulation. Furthermore，more efforts are made to transform the aging crisis into a driving force for economic growth，achieving complementary regional advantages and win-win cooperation.
