The homestead system has played an important role in rural social stability to ensure that farmers have their own houses. Speeding up the reform of rural homestead and improving the degree of rural land intensification are the important basis for activating the countryside, strengthening the village and enriching the people, and curbing the decline of rural areas. With the urban expansion and a large number of rural population moving outward, the homestead system, which plays the role of social security and has the welfare nature of rural collective members, has begun to face a series of problems of uncoordinated and inefficient utilization. On the basis of combing the characteristics and legal framework of the national rural homestead system, this paper explores the feasible ways to deepen the rural homestead reform.
