At present，under the new revolution of science and technology and the vigorous development of industry，automobile and artificial intelligence，communication and other fields accelerate the integration，promote the rapid development of automobile intelligence and network connection. As an important carrier of cross-boundary integration，autonomous driving vehicles are pushing forward the profound transformation of automobile，transportation and other industries，and providing new ideas and solutions to the social problems brought by automobiles in the fields of environment，energy and transportation. In this paper，we describe the present situation of auto-driving in China from the aspects of auto-driving policy，law，standard，technology，industry and commercial application，and analyze the challenges in developing auto-driving in China through the comparative analysis between domestic and domestic development，including the imperfection of relevant standards and regulations，the immaturity of technology development，the imperfection of upstream and downstream industrial chains，the lack of a unified coordination mechanism among related industries，the lack of a profitable business model and the need to improve the degree of collaborative driving. It is expected that Robotaxi will become a hot competition in the travel service industry in the future，and vehicle-road coordination will become the main technical route for the development of autonomous driving in China. Information security is the first threshold to be crossed on the safe road of autonomous driving. Autonomous driving cross-border cooperation is an inevitable trend，commercial operation will accelerate.
