The construction and development of urban infrastructure is an important factor to measure a city’s level of modernization. The 2017 urban infrastructure management evaluation is a continuation of the urban infrastructure management in 2016. Based on the 2015-2017 results，this report compares and analyzes the infrastructure management level of 36 key cities in China from both horizontal and vertical dimensions. The vertical comparison shows that the average score of urban infrastructure management level in 2015-2017 had been increasing by years with a rising trend and a general improvement；the infrastructure management level of the top 10 and bottom 5 cities are relatively stable. The horizontal comparison shows that there were regional differences in the level of urban infrastructure management according to the division of economic regions；there was no coordinated development between urban economic development level and infrastructure management level with the latter being ahead of or behind the former.
