LPRP has always attached great importance to the construction of cadres. In 2019，LPRP convened the Eighth and Ninth Plenary Session of the Tenth Central Committee，which comprehensively analyzed the current international and domestic situations and profoundly summarized the achievements and experience of Laos’ economic and social development. Among them，the Eighth Plenary Session issued new documents on the construction of cadres. Around the two plenary sessions，several decisions and documents regarding the same topic were also successively issued by LPRP. These decisions and documents emphasized to raise awareness of the significance of the construction of cadres，and on the basis of summing up theoretical and practical experience，and in accordance with the overall deployments at the Tenth National Congress of LPRP，to innovate measures to further strengthen the construction of cadres in the new period. It will have an important influence on cadres’ arrangements in the Eleventh National Congress of LPRP in 2021 and the future development of the socialist cause in Laos.
