In the context of unprecedented changes in the past century，the international communist movement is also in the process of forming a new pattern. In 2019，the communist parties of various countries commemorated the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist International in various ways. They summarized historical experiences and lessons，and explored international union in the new era. In solemn celebration of the 100th anniversary of the May Fourth Movement and the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China，China reviewed the historical process of the Chinese nation from hardship to glory，and summarized the achievements and experiences of the Chinese path. Socialist countries such as Vietnam，Cuba，Laos，and DPRK pressed on with reforms，and amended their constitutions and regulations to lay out new blueprints for development. Most of the non-ruling communist parties tried to change their struggle strategies for development purpose，and some formed alliances with other left-wing parties in pursuit of more seats in the parliamentary elections. However，in reality，only the Communist Party of Nepal has successfully formed a coalition and become a party in power，while European left-wing coalitions have been on a downward path. The Workers’ Party of Belgium has become a dark horse in the 2019 elections. In the context of unprecedented changes in the past century，building a community of shared future for mankind is a smart solution and a wise choice to reconstruct the relationship between capitalism and socialism. Looking forward to 2020，amid an unprecedented worldwide COVID-19 pandemic，the superiority of socialism will be further demonstrated in the epidemic control.
