In the context of the slow recovery of the world economy,rising global commodity prices and the strengthening of regional economic integration,the overall economic growth of Francophone African countries showed an upward trend from 2017 to 2018,and economic development recovered somewhat. Although the economic development of various countries has achieved certain results,many problems left over from history,such as political instability,serious fiscal deficits and a single economic structure,are still important sources hindering the economic development of Francophone African countries. In recent years,in order to overcome these challenges,Francophone African countries have issued many economic development strategies,economic development visions and economic development plans to promote the rapid economic growth of various countries. However,in the context of economic globalization,Francophone African countries still need to strengthen mutual cooperation and jointly seek new opportunities for Africa’s economic development.
