Organizing exhibition is an important function of museums. It plays a pivotal and core role in the functional links of museums，and is also a symbol of the level of museums. In 2018，in order to recommend high-quality exhibitions and meet the people’s high-quality living needs，the Chongqing City Municipal Bureau of Cultural Relics conducted the annual excellent exhibition selection activity，and obtained good results. In order to promote the upgrading of museum exhibition and realize the connotative development of museums，this paper takes the excellent exhibition selection activity in Chongqing City as an example，puts forward countermeasures and suggestions on how to strengthen museum’s management of exhibition organizing，hoping to improve the overall management level and service quality of museums.
