Horticulture exposition is an important part of exposition industry. Since Kunming City succeeded in bidding for the 1999 World Horticultural Exposition，the horticulture exposition in China has been developing rapidly，developing well as a whole. But there are several problems remaining to be solved. This paper takes horticulture exposition industry in our country as the object，beginning with horticulture exposition，analyzes existing problems，explores deep reasons and puts forward suggestions on how to achieve the sustainable development of horticulture exposition industry.
