2019’s economic operations generally ran stable and steady in Sichuan Northeast Economic Zone. However，the declining of regional potential economic growth，with the sudden burst of the COVID-19 epidemic in the first quarter of 2020 has been imposing more pressure upon the regional economy and pushing it into risks. As for the economic policies to be implemented，“steady growth” should be emphasized in the short term，and “structure adjustment” ought to be focused upon in the long term.
