The urbanization of Sichuan Province has shown the development features of late start and fast speed. Under the background of high-quality development，there are many problems in Sichuan’s urbanization，such as lagging behind the national average level，interwoven contradictions between urbanization development gap and regional development imbalance，and the urban system and structure need to be improved. We need to take a new urbanization path of “people-oriented，regional coordination，” four Modernizations “in the same step，urban and rural planning as a whole，intensive and efficient”，and implement the development path of differentiation.
