The key to regional coordination is to enhance the radiation driving effect of regional central cities on surrounding areas. Focusing on the theme of enhancing the radiation power of Chengdu’s central cities，this paper builds a comprehensive index system to measure the urban radiation of Chengdu in 2009-2018. It is found that the radiation of Chengdu to other cities of Sichuan has declined，especially the environmental radiation. Then，based on the fracture point theory，this paper measures the radiation capacity and strength of 17 cities of Sichuan province，and defines the hinterland classification and scope of Chengdu according to the field strength. At last，this paper puts forward five suggestions，which are to construct the flowing space，to strengthen the resource allocation，to optimize the business environment，to build the regional organic whole and to highlight the characteristic advantages.
