As a regular content of nighttime economy，fine food has been booming along with the transformation of urban business district and the process of urbanization，so “nighttime food” is not a new word，let alone a new type of business. However，considering the policy background and practice orientation of the current nighttime economy，especially the urgency of the recovery of worldly life in the “post-epidemic” period，it is necessary to carry out systematic research on the nighttime food economy，so as to better exert the comprehensive effect of “not just eating and drinking” for food in nighttime economy. Out of the temporal perspective of “nighttime”，this paper analyzes the characteristics of nighttime food supply from the spatial dimension，points out the particularity of the demand of nighttime food in three aspects of consumption time，consumption space and consumption experience，and emphatically analyzes the misunderstanding existing in the current nighttime food economic practice，and puts forward the suggestions on the integration of food and culture，food and new media to solve effective supply and accurate supply.
