As an important part of the comprehensive strength of urban culture，the cultural industry is an important carrier for inheriting urban cultural heritage，as well as an important breakthrough for promoting the transformation and upgrading of industrial structure and promoting high-quality economic development. In recent years，Guangzhou has attached great importance to the development of cultural industries，continued to increase policy support，strengthened market players，promoted industrial integration，and achieved great results. However，compared with some advanced cities in China，Guangzhou still have some problems and shortcomings. Recently，we have conducted special research on the problems and put forward targeted policy recommendations：one is to deepen system reforms to activate development momentum；the second is to increase financial investment and strengthen policy support；the third is to build leading enterprises and promote industrial agglomeration；and the fourth is to make full use resource advantages and promote the Guangzhou brands.
