Jiaozuo is located in the northwest of Henan Province，with Taihang Mount to the north and Yellow River to the south. In the 2018 China City Competitiveness Ranking released by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences，Jiaozuo ranked the third in economic competitiveness of Henan province and was listed in the top 100 nationwide. Over the years，Jiaozuo Municipal Party Committee and government have attached great importance to education，supported the development of private education，and promoted the healthy development of private education through policy support，cash reward funds，selecting public teachers，subsidize tuition fees，textbook fees and other measures. According to the actual situation of Jiaozuo，the municipal Education Bureau implemented the policy of “actively encouraging，strongly supporting，correctly guiding and legally managing” of private education，and issued a series of supporting measures. While supporting development，it strictly controls and standardizes management. In 2019，a total of 1，239 off-campus training institutions were inspected，662 were closed，and 34 certificate issuing institutions were redirected after rectification. All private schools adhere to the socialist direction of education，give play to their own advantages，and achieve good and rapid development.
