Health care is the most directly related content to people’s physical and mental health. Scientific evaluation of urban medical and health services is of great significance for ensuring the healthy life of urban residents. This report elaborates the concept，importance and significance of health care services evaluation. This report expounds the concept of health care，the importance and the significance of health care evaluation，on the basis of the existing evaluation indexes at home and abroad for reference，six indexes were selected from two aspects of medical resources and medical investment to construct the evaluation index system of health care services for urban residents in China，evaluate the country’s 289 cities health care condition，and the evaluation results are analyzed in depth.
