<<2019 is a special year since it is the 70th anniversary of the founding of the people’s Republic of China when the performing arts industry is still booming and its international trade is developing orderly. However,a sudden epidemic of COVID-19 at the end of 2019 has cast a shadow on China’s performing arts trade. Although China’s performing arts industry has not been directly affected in 2019,the huge losses suffered by the performing arts enterprises have gradually emerged in 2020. Faced with the continuing epidemic,it is particularly important for us to summarize and reflect on the international trade of performing arts in 2019. This report summarizes the development characteristics in the prosperity of the performing arts market in 2019,and focuses on combing the new development trend of the industry. Based on the features of the domestic performing arts market,it analyzes the characteristics of China’s international trade in performing arts from different dimensions such as trade target,industry boundary,industrial chain integrity,and the value of the performance trade platform,and tries to find optimization from the perspective of policies,models,channels,etc. Hopefully the solution could provide some feasible references for China’s performing arts industry and international trade to overcome the impact of the epidemic and find new growth points in 2020 and beyond.
