Currently，China’s economy society are in a period of transition from high-speed development to high-quality development. As one of the important means to coordinate and promote urban-rural development，urban planning is bound to face significant transformation. On May 9，2019，The State Council of the CPC Central Committee issued the‘Some opinions on the establishment and supervision of the implementation of the land and space planning system’，marking the formal implementation of the land space planning. The land spatial planning of ‘multiple compliance and integration’ is not a simple superposition of functions，but an overall reconstruction of the land spatial planning system. In this important transition period，new changes，new requirements and new trends have emerged in urban-rural planning and design from theory to practice.
