Digital economy is booming up in China，with the tremendously rising demand of digital asset capitalization and management. We summarize and put in order the concepts relevant to digital asset or data asset in the digital economy evolution process. Tokenization of asset and capitalization of data characterize the digital economy. The difference of asset propertilization and asset capitalization is discussed. Due to the great profit driven by the big data technology，it is emphasized the economic meaning and necessity for the digital asset or data asset management. Key problems are discussed in the valuation，trading and appreciation in the management process. It is deeply believed the Trust industry can empower the digital asset management by showing a few cases of how the trust financial instrument can be embedded within the digital business.
