However，in the context of high-quality development，the implementation and implementation of the new development concept pose great challenges for the coal industry. As a large coal production province and a typical resource-based economic region，how can Shanxi continue to promote the green development of the coal industry in this situation. Development is a major subject worthy of discussion and research. Based on an in-depth analysis of the current status and existing problems of the green development about the Shanxi coal industry during the 13th Five-Year Plan period，this report combines the domestic and foreign macroeconomic development trends and the development trend of the coal industry，based on the actual situation in Shanxi，starting with the “124” strategic development model. Specifically，to uphold the new development concept，grasp the inventory and incremental development path，and improve the hard power，competitiveness，vitality and carrying capacity of green development by insisting on the project as the king，insisting on optimizing the structure，insisting on reform，and adhering to environmental governance.
