This report selects six cities in the eastern，central，western and northeast regions of China to make a comprehensive analysis of their labor cost changes from 2015 to 2017，including labor cost level and growth，labor cost level and growth，labor cost index change，labor cost input-output change and so on in key industries. It is found that the gaps of labor cost level between cities and between manufacturing industries continue to expand，the annual index and cumulative index of labor cost in manufacturing industry in each city continue to rise，and the input-output situation of labor cost in first-tier cities continues to be better than that in other cities. On the trend，the growth rate of labor cost will slow down，the gap of regional labor cost will still increase，and the labor cost index of enterprises in most industries will rise，but the relative labor cost of manufacturing industry is lower than that of developed countries，which is conducive to maintain the competitive advantage of low cost.
