In 2018，Hubei province has made remarkable achievements in the development of management discipline. It has achieved great achievements in the aspects of talent team，discipline construction，research platform，research project and results，academic exchange and social service，showing the strength of Hubei province’s management discipline and establishing the status of Hubei province as a major province in the development of humanities and social sciences. In the future，however，there are some problems，such as insufficient characteristics of Jingchu，unclear research paradigms，and uneven scientific development. effective measures should be taken to promote the development of Hubei management discipline in terms of innovation of research paradigm and research method，support of discipline and inter-school balance，and promotion of interdisciplinary research.
