In the present world context，the technological revolution and industrial transformation are fast-changing. The digital economy is booming. China has become the second largest digital economy in the world. This report expounds the basic connotation of the digital economy and the characteristics of the digital economy of China and the United States，analyzes the current status of digital economy development in relevant cities in the Hangzhou Metropolitan Circle，analyzes the main challenges that restrict the integration of the digital economy in the Hangzhou Metropolitan Circle and establish a “winning victory”，and proposes some countermeasures and suggestions about promoting high-quality development of digital economy and developing the first Metropolitan Circle of the digital economy in the Hangzhou Metropolitan Circle with application innovation and ecological construction.
