The trade cooperation between China and B&R countries has made new progress after 2017，which is manifested in（1）that the number of countries joining the “Belt and Road” Initiative construction is increasing，and the trade cooperation area is greatly expanded；（2）that the scale of trade between China and B&R countries has steadily increased，the share and position of the B&R countries in China’s foreign trade have increased significantly，and the Chinese market has provided huge demands for the B&R countries；（3）that as shown by the structural characteristics of trade commodities，China’s pivotal position and the role of engine in the production and distribution networks of the “Belt and Road” Initiative trade are becoming more and more significant；（4）and that the scope of cooperation between China and the B&R countries with the nature of free trade zone has been gradually expanded，and the level of trade cooperation has been continuously improved.
